The District CE Primary School is seeking a part-time Learning Assistant (Level 2) and Midday Supervisor to support teachers and pupils. The role combines Learning Assistant duties with a dedicated two and a half hours per week as a Midday Supervisor, within term-time plus one week, under a fixed-term contract funded for the duration of the post.

Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum delivery, supporting learners in English and maths, lunchtime supervision, promoting pupil

Qualifications

• Experience with children in an educational setting.
• Confidence supporting learning, particularly in English and maths.
• Strong communication and a positive, resilient attitude.

Responsabilités

• Learning Assistant Level 2: support curriculum delivery and individual/small-group interventions.
• Lunchtime care: supervision during playtimes and lunchtimes.
• Promote wellbeing: build positive relationships and provide pastoral care.
• School standards: uphold behaviour and safeguarding policies and inclusivity.
