Job summary

Morland Church of England Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work 19.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year and support learning in the classroom, mainly with children, under the direction of the class teachers.

The role requires GCSE English and mathematics, with an appropriate level of expertise and qualifications in school, including A-C (Grade 4-9). Lunchtime duties are included in the position.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and mathematics is required.
• Experience in a school setting is desirable.
• A-C (Grade 4-9) level academically.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing each child's self-esteem and personal and social skills.
• Undertake a range of tasks to support learning in the classroom, mainly with children.
• Work individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver classroom support.
• Be prepared to cover a 30 minute lunchtime session.
