Job summary

Brooklands College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work collaboratively in supporting learners 1:1 or in small groups across various curriculum levels. The role includes using effective strategies for literacy and numeracy, supporting students during exams, and maintaining careful records of the support provided.

You will need qualifications in English and Maths at level 2, and a relevant LSA qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners in class 1:1 or in small groups.
• Understanding of Additional Learning Support function.
• Willingness to take a relevant LSA qualification is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in class at all curriculum levels.
• Use strategies to help students with reading, writing, and maths skills.
• Keep records of all LSA support provided.
