Windhill21 is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. The role supports teaching and learning under the supervision of staff, with responsibilities spanning small-group work, intervention sessions, and pupil wellbeing.

The post is paid at £26,016 per annum FTE, pro-rata for 18.75 hours per week during term time, with potential flexibility in schedules for the right candidate. Training and safeguarding duties apply.

Qualificações

• To work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing assistance to staff and pupils.
• Experience supporting pupils and facilitating learning in an educational setting.

Responsabilidades

• Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Lead focused intervention sessions to reinforce key concepts.
• Support pupils to understand instructions, support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils.
• Observe pupils during tasks, record their understanding and provide real-time feedback during lessons.
• Support the teacher in positive behaviour management and keeping pupils on task.
• Support pupils in social and emotional well-being.
• Prepare and help organise the learning environment and resources, including photocopying, filing and the display and presentation of pupils' work.
