Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes. You will work with teachers to provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist with a range of subjects, and help students overcome barriers to learning while promoting confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in school is not essential but helpful.
• Candidates with backgrounds in teaching assistance, SEN/SEND support, youth work or care-related roles are welcome.
• Safeguarding checks (DBS) and references are required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students.
• Assist with learning activities and ensure understanding across subjects.
• Support students inside and outside the classroom to build confidence.
• Help manage behaviour, routines and classroom environments.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEND and pastoral teams to track progress.
