Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking three Learning Support Assistants to join our Specialist Learning Support team. The roles are based at Worcester and Malvern campuses with travel to other sites as required. Term-time hours and part-time contracts apply, with varying schedules (20, 21, or 28 hours per week).

The salary starts at £10,781.22 and rises to £15,093.72 depending on hours and experience. Successful applicants will support learners with SEND and EHCPs, promoting inclusion and

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Maths and English, or willingness to gain.
• Experience or willingness to develop in learning support roles.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and sustain inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred learning support through 1:1 and group interventions.
• Support learners with SEND and EHCPs by implementing tailored strategies and adjustments.
• Promote inclusion, independence, confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
• Support attendance, wellbeing and achievement across Functional Skills, GCSE and vocational programmes.
• Work with tutors, staff, parents/carers and external agencies to meet learners' needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential learner records in line with policies.
