The role combines classroom support with a Midday Assistant function during lunch breaks, promoting safety and a positive atmosphere.

• Understanding of specific learning needs and styles to adapt teaching to support all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and well-being of all pupils, including those with SEND, in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
• Act as Midday Assistant during lunch breaks, taking care and control of all children on the school premises.
• Keep pupils safe and engaged during lunchtime and support positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daytime operations and learning support.
