Job summary

LIFE Education Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to support learning, development and well-being of pupils, including those with SEND, within Ford End CE VC Primary School. The role combines classroom support with a Midday Assistant function during lunch breaks, promoting safety and a positive atmosphere.

You will work with colleagues to ensure inclusive, nurturing care and assist pupils to thrive in a caring school community. Commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and well-being of all pupils, including those with SEND, in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
• Act as Midday Assistant during lunch breaks, taking care and control of all children on the school premises.
• Keep pupils safe and engaged during lunchtime and support positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daytime operations and learning support.

To support the learning, development, and well-being of all pupils, including those with complex educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive environment.This role also incorporates a Midday Assistant role, where you will take care and control of all the children on the school premises during the lunch break., Please be aware that some uploaded documents may require special software such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.
