Job summary

Envision Education is seeking Teaching Assistants for schools across High Wycombe, with most opportunities in primary settings. No formal TA qualification required, and experience with children or vulnerable individuals is welcomed.

Roles run 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, supporting pupils across primary and secondary settings. Successful candidates will work under teachers to support learning, development and wellbeing, build positive relationships, and help create a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Must be based in High Wycombe or willing to commute to High Wycombe.
• Available to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Passionate about working with children and young people.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Confident supporting children with different needs and abilities.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Reliable, professional and committed.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development throughout the school day.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive social skills.
• Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
• Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities.
• Supporting children with their emotional and social development.
• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Supporting pupils to achieve their individual goals.
