Job summary

Envision Education is actively recruiting Teaching Assistants to support schools across Slough, primarily in primary settings. Roles run 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for development and CPD. You don’t need a formal TA qualification to apply if you have transferable experience with children or vulnerable groups.

We welcome applicants from care, support, youth work, childcare and related backgrounds. Join a supportive team and contribute to pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Based in the Slough area or able to commute to Slough.
• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
• Enthusiastic, patient and caring with a passion for supporting learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and development throughout the school day.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group assistance.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills.
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities.
• Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Help pupils achieve their individual goals.
