Job summary

Envision Education is looking for an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join schools across High Wycombe. This role is ideal for those starting a career in education without a TA qualification, based in or near High Wycombe, working 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, with opportunities to help SEND pupils, foster confidence and social skills, and assist teachers with classroom tasks in primary and secondary settings.

Qualifications

• No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
• Based in High Wycombe or willing to commute to High Wycombe.
• Available to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
• Caring, patient and supportive approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working with children and young people.
• Reliable, professional and committed.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience supporting individuals with SEND is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.

Envision Education is currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants for schools across High Wycombe, with the majority of our opportunities based within primary settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to begin or develop their career within education using the skills and experience they have already gained.

We welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals. Your previous experience could be highly transferable to a school environment.

You may have previously worked as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Youth Worker, Carer, Childcare Practitioner, Residential Support Worker, Sports Coach, Mentor or in another role involving children or young people.

The Role
