Shalford Infant & Nursery School in Surrey is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to help young children across Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
You will work with teachers to make lessons accessible, support SEND learners, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school community. No prior school experience is required, but warmth, reliability and a commitment to children’s progress are essential.

If so, we would love to hear from you. As a learning support assistant you will work closely with teachers to support children across our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. You will provide support within the classroom, helping children to access learning, develop their independence and make progress. You will also have opportunities to work with children individually and in small groups, delivering targeted support and interventions. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are passionate about supporting children with SEND. You may work alongside pupils who need additional support with their communication and language, learning, social and emotional development or other aspects of their development.

You don't need to have worked in a school before. What matters most to us is that you are caring, reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping children succeed. Experience of working with children or children with SEND would be an advantage.
