Valley End CofE Infant School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team on a fixed-term contract for 3 years. The role is 30 hours per week, 8.30am–3.00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only plus a proportion of inset days.
Applications for part-week working will be considered. You will support pupils in class, assist the teacher, run small group interventions, supervise at playtimes and provide 1:1 help for children with Special Educational Needs.

Knowledge and experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential.
Alongside this main contract, we also offer the opportunity to be involved in our much-valued extended care clubs which run in the morning from 7.50 - 8.30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3.00 - 5.45 p.m.. These sessions are an important part of our school community and provide a welcoming environment for pupils beyond the core day. For those who are interested, this can be taken on in addition to the main role, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute further while enhancing overall hours.
