Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking Unqualified Learning Support Assistants to work in SEN and mainstream schools around Swindon and surrounding areas. The role involves 1:1 or small group support for pupils across all key stages, including SEND/SEMH learners.

Prior experience is beneficial but not essential, with a focus on empathy, reliability and a student-centered approach. Responsibilities include strong communication, calm handling of situations, collaboration with staff and families, and

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with pupils, families and staff
• Willingness to support learners with SEND/SEMH
• No formal teaching qualifications required but comfort with learning support tasks

Responsibilities

• Support children one-to-one or in small groups across key stages
• Assist with developing engagement in learning and manage classroom behavior
• Follow safeguarding guidance and work with schools and Protocol Education team
