Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant to support children with SEN/SEMH in Swindon and surrounding areas. You will work 1:1 or in small groups across key stages to help improve engagement with learning.

No formal teaching qualifications are required, but empathy, resilience and collaboration are essential. Candidates from Youth Work, Care, Art, Psychology backgrounds are welcomed to kickstart a career in education.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, driven, and passionate about working with young people.
• Able to work 1:1 or in small groups to support engagement with learning.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups across key stages.
• Assist with SEN/SEND or SEMH needs as part of the learning plan.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families to support pupil progress.
