Job summary

Surecall Education Recruitment is seeking Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work in primary, secondary and SEN schools across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. You will support pupils with learning, development and day-to-day school activities, in roles ranging from daily supply to long-term placements.

Qualifications

• Patient and caring approach to supporting learners.
• Experience in schools or care settings is advantageous.
• Relevant childcare or education qualifications are a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group pupil support.
• Help develop reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills.
• Support pupils with SEND.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt activities for different learning needs.
• Prepare teaching resources and monitor progress.
