Surecall Education Recruitment is seeking Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. You will support teachers and pupils with reading, writing and numeracy, including SEND pupils, in a variety of school settings.

Opportunities range from daily supply to long-term placements with flexible full-time/part-time options. Weekly PAYE payments and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualificações

• Experience with children in education settings desirable.
• Ability to support reading, writing and numeracy.

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help children develop reading, writing, communication and numeracy skills.
• Support pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt activities to different learning abilities and needs.
• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Supervise pupils during breaks and lunchtime.
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety policies.
