Job summary

Reed is actively recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of educational settings in the United Kingdom. As an LSA you will support students with diverse learning needs, provide one-to-one or small group assistance, and collaborate with teachers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is advantageous but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting education and student development.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support.
• Assisting students with additional needs, including SEND.
• Supporting classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encouraging student engagement and participation.
• Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Helping students develop social and emotional skills.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and support staff.
