Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience or relevant training as an Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant.
• Deep knowledge of secondary curriculum subjects and classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1 on 1 or in small groups as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
• Assist the teacher by adapting learning materials to student targets.
• Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
• Track, monitor, and report student progress to teachers and specialists.
