Job summary

Randstad Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work across local schools in supporting pupils with learning needs. This full-time, term-time role focuses on targeted interventions to help students make progress.

The LSA will differentiate resources, lead small groups, promote independence, and track progress, reporting to teachers and the SENCO. Immediate start available with weekly pay at £90–£95 per day.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths; ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively.
• Proactive in spotting struggling students and offering timely support.
• Experience tutoring or working in schools.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willing to apply) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Differentiating resources by re-packaging lessons for varied learners.
• Small group leadership during breakout sessions for 3-5 students.
• Promoting independence with scaffold-and-fade techniques.
• Progress tracking and reporting to teachers and SENCO.
