Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) requirement.
• Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and engage students; knowledge of child protection and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist individuals and small groups with learning activities.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement and progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Prepare and use learning materials, including ICT resources.
• Help create stimulating classroom displays.
