Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support primary pupils across Nottingham and surrounding areas. The role involves working across EYFS to KS2, with responsibilities ranging from 1:1 support to small groups and targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will have experience with children, a passion for learning, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. A safeguarding-aware, patient and collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience within a primary school, nursery, SEN setting or similar environment.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom, including 1:1 and small groups.
• Provide targeted interventions to help children access learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and work closely with the class teacher.
