Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of Wolverhampton College to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to help learners access their studies in a welcoming college environment. You will support across curriculum areas and assist lecturers with inclusive teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners in education or support settings.
• Understanding of SEND, learning barriers, and inclusive support approaches.
• Enhanced DBS check is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support across a range of curriculum areas
• Supporting learners with additional needs, including SEND, EHCPs, and learning barriers
• Assisting lecturers with classroom activities, differentiation, and inclusive learning strategies
• Encouraging learner engagement, independence, and progress
• Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to promote learner success
