Farndon Fields Primary School in Market Harborough is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with our teaching team and support pupils’ learning and wellbeing. You will help deliver engaging lessons, assist individuals and small groups, and provide feedback on progress.
The role requires safeguarding awareness, good communication skills, and a proactive, caring approach. Term-time based, with fixed-term contract until 19 August 2027, 22.5 hours/week.
Salary: Grade 5 Pay Point 7-8 (£25,191 - £25,590 per annum, approximate starting salary of £13,106.32 per annum)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term-time only plus Inset days)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 19 August 2027
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 08.30am to 13:00pm

We are a successful, friendly school set in beautiful grounds on the edge of Market Harborough. Our school environment has been developed with two additional classrooms that were completed in February 2013 and an additional 7 new classrooms, a new hall and a refurbished administration area and school entrance completed in 2018. We have also installed a brand-new library thanks to funds raised by our own PTA and support from the local Market Harborough charity ‘Howard Watson Symington Memorial Charity’. We are a Microsoft Showcase school, sharing good practice through this global network.
