Job summary

Quantum Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in EYFS/KS1 for 15 hours per week during term time. The role involves working under the direction of class teachers and may include a midday assistant duty.

The successful candidate will be collaborative, flexible, and committed to inclusive education, with good numeracy and literacy. Experience with SEND is desirable.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills, GCSE or equivalent highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in EYFS/KS1 under the direction of class teachers.
• Support a pupil in daily activities and in learning tasks.
• Interact with children and promote positive behaviour in the classroom.
• May perform a midday assistant (MDA) role as part of duties.
