Job summary

Meadgate Primary School in Chelmsford is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly team supporting in KS1 lessons and interventions.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential; the successful candidate will have good numeracy and literacy, strong teamwork, and the ability to liaise with staff. An enhanced DBS check and references will be required.

Meadgate Primary School is part of Quantum Multi-Academy Trust and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and capable learning support assistant who will have a positive impact on the children that they work with. Previous experience is highly desirable but not essential. You will be joining a team of hard working, friendly and adaptable LSAs working under the direction of class teachers supporting in lessons and running interventions.

We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic candidate to provide support to children in KS1. Suitable candidates will be able to interact with a wide range of children and use their own interpersonal skills to encourage the most from the children. Supporting groups of pupils and individuals including those with additional needs.

Also be able to work as part of a team and able to liaise with other members of staff. The successful applicant will be organised with good communication skills, able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, and understand the professional nature of the role.

Together with the above attributes, a good standard of English and mathematics is required.
