Qualifications

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - advantageous if you have level 3.
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above).
Experience supporting children in any Key Stage.
Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND.
Understanding of child development and how children learn.
Positive behaviour management experience.

Responsibilities

Improve the learning and attainment of students while promoting independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
Supervise classroom activities.
Support speech and language interventions.
Help students access the curriculum and participate in learning.
Be a warm and friendly face to students and parents.
Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required.
