Job summary

Bradford College in Bradford is recruiting a Learning Assistant to join our Disability Services provision. This role offers an entry into a career in Education and involves providing non-teaching support to students with disabilities to help them succeed in their course.

The successful candidate will work 18.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with responsibilities including support in classrooms and during visits and residentials, while maintaining Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in daily

Qualifications

• GCSE maths at level 2 (5-9) or equivalent.
• GCSE English at level 2 or equivalent.
• Level 2 Safeguarding is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-teaching support for students with disabilities or learning difficulties.
• Follow guidance from EHC Plans and Learning Support Agreements.
• Provide verbal and written feedback on learner progress and accessibility issues to teaching staff.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching aids and materials.
