Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a partner school in North Northamptonshire, supporting pupils with complex additional needs. The role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support, aiding learning and development, and helping pupils engage in classroom activities.

The contract is temp-to-perm with competitive daily rates (£92.56-£95 per day). You must have the right to work in the UK long term; sponsorship is not available.

• Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Experience within a SEN or specialist school/care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 and/or small-group support to pupils with complex needs.
• Support pupils with their individual learning and development.
• Help pupils engage with classroom activities and school life.
• Support with personal care and day-to-day needs where required.
• Assist pupils who may display challenging or dysregulated behavior.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and work with teachers to meet needs.

Learning Support Assistant - Complex Needs

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our partner schools in North Northamptonshire, supporting pupils with complex additional needs.

The Role

• Providing dedicated 1:1 and/or small-group support to pupils with complex needs
• Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development
• Helping pupils to engage positively with school and classroom activities
• Supporting with personal care and other aspects of day-to-day care where required
• Supporting pupils who may present with challenging or dysregulated behaviour
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and providing consistent support
• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to meet individual needs

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs is essential
• Experience within a specialist school, SEN, care or support setting
• Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Must have the right to work in the UK for the long term, as this role has the potential to become permanent
• Applicants must have settled status, indefinite leave to remain, British/Irish citizenship or another valid long-term right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for this position
