Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Barnet. You will provide high‑quality 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with PMLD, complex SEND and autism, helping them develop communication, independence and confidence.

The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, use of PECS/Makaton/AAC, and close collaboration with teachers and therapists to support EHCP targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a specialist school or PMLD setting preferred.
• Patience, compassion and reliability are essential.
• UK-based availability is required.

Location: Barnet, North London

Salary: £95-£115 per day PAYE

Contract: Full-time, Long-term / Supply

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a background supporting pupils with PMLD, complex needs or profound SEND? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a specialist school in Barnet who are looking for caring, patient and experienced TAs to join their team. This is a rewarding role where you'll work closely with pupils who require a high level of individual support, helping them develop their communication, independence and confidence.

The Role

You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, Autism and communication difficulties.
