Job summary

Maylandsea Primary School is seeking a calm and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team during term time. You will help in lessons, run interventions, and provide dedicated support for a child with ASD and ADHD, assisting with emotional regulation and learning tasks.

Great communication, patience, and the ability to collaborate with staff are essential. An enhanced DBS check and references are required; GCSE English and Maths are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous LSA experience is desirable but not essential.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check and references will be required.
• Ability to provide intimate care with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support in lessons and run interventions under teachers’ direction.
• Provide dedicated support for a child with ASD and ADHD.
• Support emotional regulation, social interaction and learning tasks.
• Interact with a range of pupils including those with additional needs.
