Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Agriculture and Horticulture Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture on a part-time, term-time basis.

The role involves supporting learners across classes and individuals, helping with planning, delivery, and evaluation of activities, and assisting with English, maths and ICT skills, while adhering to safeguarding and college policies.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 2 qualifications (GCSE A-C or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Relevant qualifications or experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Support students to overcome learning barriers and participate in activities.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, mathematics and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support the use of specialist equipment.
