Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Peacehaven
Pay: GBP90 - GBP110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a caring and supportive Learning Support Assistant to join a lovely school in Peacehaven. This is a great chance to make a real difference in a child s school day.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help students who may need extra help with their learning. You will work closely with teachers and help children stay focused and feel confident in class. This role is perfect for someone who wants to support young people in a friendly and welcoming school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students with their classwork and understanding of lessons.
• Give extra support to children who need help with reading, writing, or behaviour.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with students.
• Help keep the classroom calm and organised.
• Support the teacher in setting up lessons and activities.
• Be a friendly adult that students can trust and talk to.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a school or with children is helpful.
• A patient and positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow instructions and school policies.
• A CV covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply for one through GSL Education.
