Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Gorton, Manchester

Pay: GBP13.68 to GBP15.87 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full:Time

Contract: Long:Term, Ongoing (September start or sooner)

Reeson Education is working closely with a supportive and forward:thinking special needs school in Gorton to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This full:time Learning Support Assistant position begins in September or sooner and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a small, welcoming team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other complex needs on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The school is known for its nurturing environment, well:resourced classrooms, and inclusive ethos.

Key Responsibilities For The Learning Support Assistant

• Provide personalised support as a Learning Support Assistant for pupils with SEN.
• Promote inclusion and encourage full participation in lessons and activities.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies as a Learning Support Assistant.
• Work closely with the teacher and wider team to maintain a safe, engaging space.
• Observe and report progress, behaviour, and wellbeing as a Learning Support Assistant.
  
  

Requirements For The Learning Support Assistant

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, TA, or similar role.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA/Childcare).
• A calm, adaptable, and patient approach.
• A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness ) and commitment to safeguarding.
