Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, temporary role at a Thornbury school, starting ASAP. You will support pupils with challenging behaviour, helping them stay engaged and maintain focus throughout the day.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, temporary position, starting ASAP. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support children who can display challenging behaviour, helping them remain engaged with their learning while promoting positive behaviour and providing consistent support throughout the school day. This is a temporary position and applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience supporting children who display challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• A positive and adaptable attitude
