Swalcliffe Park School in Oxfordshire is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help secondary-age boys on the autism spectrum access learning, build independence and participate in the life of the school and community. You will work with a Key Stage team alongside teachers, therapists and residential colleagues to support safeguarding and student progress.

Salary: £26,016 to £26,847 per annum Actual (NJC Scp 4-6)

Swalcliffe Park School provides specialist residential education and care for around 70-75 secondary aged boys (10-19 yrs) all of whom are on the Autism Spectrum. Working within a Key Stage team, the Learning Support Assistant helps individuals and groups access classroom, community and off-site learning while contributing to progress, safeguarding and wellbeing.
The Learning Support Assistant works closely with teachers, therapists, senior leaders and residential colleagues, with opportunities to build skills through training and development.
Across school life, the Learning Support Assistant also supports families, reporting, key-working and the smooth running of education provision.
