Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Stockport to support children and young people with Autism and complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive school environment. The role is full-time and temporary, with term-time hours and the potential to become permanent after a qualifying period.

You will join a dedicated team, receive ongoing CPD, and benefit from PAYE pay arrangements. Start date is November 2026.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families.
• Show emotional resilience and adaptability, remaining patient and positive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment.
• Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting.

Learning Support Assistant(full-time, temporary)

£463 - £500 per week PAYE (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: November 2026

The School and Role

This is a term‑time only role with strong potential to become permanent following a successful qualifying period, alongside access to ongoing training and professional development.
