Bonnygate Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with learning and welfare within a welcoming team. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, 30 hours per week, 8:45am–3:15pm, term time plus inset days.
The successful candidate will be passionate, creative, and able to adapt learning programs to individual needs, with strong safeguarding skills and excellent communication and organisation.

8:45am - 3:15pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, Monday - Friday

Bonnygate Primary School wishes to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who is highly motivated, creative, fun and has a good understanding of child development.
You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child’s needs. You will be resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills.

Able to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students’ welfare
Educated to GCSE Level in Maths and English and will have obtained Grade 4-9 or equivalent
