Job summary

Samuel Whitbread Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEN in mainstream lessons. The role is based at Samuel Whitbread Academy, with 30 hours per week during term-time, including designated staff training days on a pro rata basis.

The successful candidate will have GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above and excellent communication skills. You will be part of a large, welcoming team dedicated to helping students achieve their potential.

JOB TITLE: Learning Support Assistant

BASED AT: Samuel Whitbread Academy

SALARY/GRADE RANGE: NJC Scale 2A Points 3-4 (FTE £25,614 - £26,016 pro rata; actual £18,083 - £18,367)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of ASC Provision & Learning Support / SENCO

HOURS: 30.00 hours per week, term-time only including 5 pro rata designated staff training days.
