Job summary

Samuel Whitbread Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will help pupils with SEN in mainstream lessons and support inclusive learning in a vibrant Bedfordshire setting. The role is 30 hours per week during term time, with pro rata salary on the NJC Scale 2A.

You will work under the Head of ASC Provision & Learning Support and SENCO, with DBS clearance required. We value resilience, good communication, and a positive attitude toward education, and welcome

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and classroom confidence.
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) required.
• Experience supporting students with SEN in mainstream lessons is valued.

Responsibilities

• The main focus of the role is to support students with SEN in mainstream lessons.
• Support pupils in a friendly, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement inclusive practices and track progress.
