Are you a psychology graduate, sports coach, or youth mentor looking for a rewarding role where you can help shape young lives?
Teaching Personnel is working with a number of Primary and SEN schools in NG18 (Mansfield) that are seeking passionate individuals to support children with additional needs, behavioural challenges, and emotional development.
We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
Support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviour, helping them re-engage with learning. Ideal for candidates with a background in psychology, youth work, or mental health.
You’ll:
Work 1:1 or in small groups
Use strategies to support SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs
Help pupils build confidence and resilience
Gain valuable, hands-on experience in a school setting — ideal for aspiring educational psychologists or therapists.
You’ll:
Work with children who need support regulating emotions or behaviour
Deliver interventions to develop focus, communication, and wellbeing
Receive training and support from experienced SEN professionals
Use physical activity to engage children with learning and behavioural challenges — particularly in SEN and KS2 settings.
You’ll:
Lead structured activities to build social and motor skills
Reinforce routine, teamwork, and positive behaviours
Bring energy and structure to students who thrive with active learning
A degree in Psychology, Sport, Education, or relevant experience
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Experience working with children (formal or informal)
A commitment to supporting all pupils to thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
