Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an SEN school in Maidstone to recruit a dedicated SEN LSA for 1-1 support and personal care. The role is long-term with an immediate start and offers market leading pay and ongoing CPD.

You will work closely with staff to understand each pupil’s individual needs and help them reach their full potential in a caring, supportive environment.

Job Title: SEN LSA

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an SEN school based in Maidstone, supporting children with a range of additional needs. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and individual abilities.

The school is looking to take on a caring SEN LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN LSA will provide 1-1 support, assist pupils with personal care where required and work closely with staff to understand and meet each child's individual additional needs.

The successful SEN LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Experience providing 1-1 support
• Confidence supporting pupils with personal care
• A good understanding of additional needs and individual support requirements
• A kind, caring and patient nature
• A positive and supportive approach to working with children
