Job summary

Powertutors UK is seeking compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work closely with our students on a 2:1 basis in Epsom, Esher and Woking.

You will support communication, engagement, independence, social interaction and emotional regulation through motivating play-based activities, under the supervision of a Lead Tutor.

Hours are 10–15 hours per week in term time, paid at £25 per hour, with flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

• Previous experience working with young people with SEND.
• Friendly, patient and calm demeanor, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage schedules effectively.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to students needs and goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people with SEND, particularly in a school or SEND setting.
• Friendly, patient and calm demeanor, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage schedules effectively.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to students needs and goals.

Essential:

• Previous work in education, particularly in SEND

Hours:

10 - 15 hours per week in term time only

Pay:

25 per hour
