Job summary

Haberdashers' Adams in Newport, Shropshire seeks two Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with diverse needs on a term-time basis. One role is 30 hours per week, the other 12.5 hours, both part-time and permanent.

Hours Part-Time

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and adaptable Learning Support Assistants: one 30 hours per week and one for 12.5 hours per week, both working term-time only. The working pattern for the 12.5 hour role can be negotiated with the successful candidate. The successful applicants will provide individual, small-group and classroom support, alongside regular intervention, for pupils with a range of additional needs. Experience of supporting academically able pupils, particularly those with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) or who use English as an additional language (EAL), would be highly desirable. Applicants should be compassionate, organised and able to build positive relationships while promoting pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing."
