Job summary

Haberdashers' Adams Newport in Shropshire is seeking two Learning Support Assistants to join our team. One role is 30 hours per week and the other 12.5 hours per week, both term-time only. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs through individual, small-group and classroom assistance.

Experience with pupils who have ASC or EAL is highly desirable. We value compassionate, organized applicants who can build positive relationships and promote confidence, independence and wellbeing.

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and adaptable Learning Support Assistants: one 30 hours per week and one for 12.5 hours per week, both working term-time only. The working pattern for the 12.5 hour role can be negotiated with the successful candidate. The successful applicants will provide individual, small-group and classroom support, alongside regular intervention, for pupils with a range of additional needs. Experience of supporting academically able pupils, particularly those with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) or who use English as an additional language (EAL), would be highly desirable. Applicants should be compassionate, organised and able to build positive relationships while promoting pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing.
