Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is actively seeking Learning Support Assistants to support pupils across Secondary Schools in Harrow. You will work with teachers and pastoral teams to help students engage, overcome challenges and reach their potential inside and outside the classroom.

This role suits both experienced education professionals and those starting out, offering weekly PAYE pay, access to CPD, and dedicated consultant support to help you progress in mainstream, SEND, and alternative settings.

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting young people and their education.
• Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships.
• A confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Adaptable, proactive and happy to support wherever needed.
• Experience working with young people in schools, youth work, coaching, care or similar settings is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in lessons, either one-to-one, in small groups or across the classroom.
• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged and confident in their learning.
• Providing additional support for students with SEND where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence.
• Working closely with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
