Job summary

An educational support organization is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant in Hounslow to support young people in overcoming learning barriers. Job description

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistant to support young people in overcoming barriers to learning they may have, and in particular to support young persons in the acquisition of the Additional Services Provision.

Salary

£22,880 to £28,080 per annum (dependent on skills / experience)

Qualifications
  • English and maths GCSE A-C or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting young people and related issues including barriers to learning
  • Experience in providing constructive support alongside the classroom teacher.
  • Experience of people management including supporting, mentoring, and coaching and developing an individual
  • Experience of establishing maintaining high standards in learning and behaviours
  • Experience of maintaining systems relating to learner progression.
