Job summary

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a setting in Coventry who require a specialist Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You will initially be engaged via Supply Star Recruitment with a probationary period, after which a permanent contract would be offered.

The role focuses on supporting learners with SEMH, with the setting valuing relevant SEMH knowledge. School/college experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

• Preference for school/college experience, but not essential.
• Ability to work under supervision and participate in training.

You will initially be required to work through Supply Star Recruitment on a probationary period, however on successful completion of this period you will be offered a permanent contract.

The setting specifically support learners with SEMH and ideally would like to appoint someone with the relevant knowledge of SEMH to support the pupils. School/college based experience is desired but not essential, as the setting will consider applicants from similar sectors and provide relevant training.

You must have a clear DBS certificate to be considered for this role. If you do not have one Supply Star Recruitment can support you in obtaining one at a cost.
