Job summary

Supply Star Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a Training Provision in Worcester for a specialist Outreach Teaching Assistant. You will work on site and in the community with a young person, with a focus on learners who have Mental Health Needs.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence required
• DBS certificate required or can be supported to obtain one
• Experience or knowledge related to Mental Health Needs is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work on site in Worcester and in community with a young person.
• Provide outreach support to learners with Mental Health Needs.
• Hold DBS clearance or receive DBS assistance from Supply Star Recruitment during onboarding.
• Complete probationary period with the possibility of a permanent contract upon successful completion.

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Training Provision in Worcester who require a specialist Outreach Teaching Assistant to join their team and work on site and in the community with a young person.

You will initially be required to work through Supply Star Recruitment on a probationary period, however on successful completion of this period you will be offered a permanent contract.

The provision specifically support learners with Mental Health Needs and ideally would like to appoint someone with the relevant knowledge of Mental Health Needs. School based experience is desired but not essential, as the school will consider applicants from similar sectors or applicants who have relevant personal experience.
