Job summary

Great Baddow High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the SEND department. You will support students in years 7–13 with a range of needs across the whole curriculum.

The role is based in Chelmsford with a 28¾ hour week, term-time style hours, and an actual salary of £16,847 (pay award pending). DBS check will be completed for all staff.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team of staff in our SEND department. You will be required to support students in years 7 – 13 with a variety of additional and specific needs across the whole curriculum.

Scale 3, Point 5, actual salary £16,847 (pay award pending)

Hours are 28 ¾ per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.30pm

You will require a good general education, patience, the ability to foster good relationships with young people and be able to work within a fast paced, hard-working and dynamic team.
